1. Production and processing rate
Frame winch: Due to the frame structure, the central axis is not subject to the heavy load of the winding reel, the equipment has high rigidity, good overall performance and a small turning radius, so the processing speed is high.
Cage winch: Due to the relatively large turning radius and the complicated structure of the untwisting equipment, the production and processing speed of the cage winch is limited.
2. Can the twist be reversed?
Frame stranding machine: The frame stranding machine cannot untwist. During stranding, thermal stress is formed inside the single-line railway due to twisting, resulting in high-toughness hard round transmission lines that are not tightly twisted and easily fall apart. Therefore, some frame winches are equipped with pre-deformation equipment before the cage is stirred to eliminate the thermal stress of single-track railways.
Cage stranding machine: Use methods such as untwisting rings, sprocket chains and large planetary gears to carry out untwisting and twisting, so that these single-line railways (such as optical fiber lines) that cannot bear the torsion moment can achieve high toughness with very large torsion torque. Round wires (such as aluminum Panzhiang wires, etc.) and their complex stranded wire cores must use cage stranding machines.
3. Insulated cable core stranded wire
Frame stranding machine: Because it cannot carry out untwisting and stranding, it can only be used to strand some small-sized solid core conductor ring insulated cable cores.
Cage stranding machine: It can perform untwisted or untwisted stranding, so it is suitable for all kinds of insulated cable cores.
4. Tension sensor
Frame winch: Use mechanical friction or pneumatic methods to unfold the tension sensor.
Cage winch: At present, most of them use mechanical equipment friction tension sensors.
