In 1985, Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute and Shanghai Jinli Electric Machinery Factory (the predecessor of Shanghai Hongdeli Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) jointly developed four 12+18/500 frame-type stranding machines, which were supplied to Guangdong, Guiyang, Baosheng and other places.
